About

I am an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Holy Cross in Worcester, MA (USA). I teach in the areas of globalization, culture, citizenship, mobilities, technology and tourism. I completed my PhD at Lancaster University (UK) in 2004, followed by an ESRC postdoc in the Centre for Mobilities Research at Lancaster.

I am also a co-editor of the journal Hospitality & Society. For information about submitting an article, please visit our website: http://www.intellectbooks.co.uk/journals/view-journal,id=194/view,page=2/

My latest research project, 'Travel Connections: Tourism, Technology and Togetherness in a Mobile World' (Routledge 2012), investigates the social implications of the emerging trend of interactive travel.

I am currently working on the moral economies of tourism and hospitality and questions of mobile citizenship.
